ART INSTALLATION On view in the garden at Newburgh Art Supply 5 Grand Street. Glass House of Immigrant Portraits installation by Jill Enfield is a glass house of transparent wet plate collodion portraits, of immigrants, placed onto antique windows, which observers can enter or view from the exterior. The message, “People in glass houses should not throw stones. We are all immigrants.”
MUSIC/ DANCE/ FASHION FREE Tribute Concert to Aretha Franklin SAFE HARBORS GREEN Broadway / Liberty Street Hudson Valley Creatives (Saturday ONLY) at 12:30 pm Performed live by Bag of Trix with The Art of Fashion a runway show inspired by and performed to the music of the Queen who had style to match her soul.
GRITWORKS Carlye Eckert & Sara Gurevich Host Body a performance made for Newburgh that is one part tea party, two parts choreographed absurdity, and a pinch of reality
FILM THE MANHATTAN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL Will be screened September 29, 2018 at 7pm in the OBTC Great Room 101, Kaplan Hall, SUNY Orange, Newburgh.

SPECIAL ART TOURS: ARTIST IN VACANCY (AIV) Newburgh Community Land Bank 15 Chambers Street (Multimedia) *Walking tour of AIV projects depart every 2 hours (12 - 6pm) Artist in Vacancy (AIV) is a creative initiative addressing vacancy & abandonment in Newburgh by re-imagining vacant sites as places for community engagement, artistic production, aesthetic & cultural research, and renewed inhabitation.
GLENLILY GROUNDS 532 Grand Avenue, Balmville Organized by Lacey Fekishazy. 29 artists participate in an exhibition of outdoor site-specific art and sculpture spread out on the GlenLily Manor estate, over 11 acres of field, hill, and wood. Open both days of the tour.
THORNWILLOW STUDIO 25 Spring Street (Saturday ONLY) Printer and Publisher of handmade limited edition books. TOURS: 12:30 pm 2:00 pm 3:30 pm
THE NEWBURGH POTTERY 102 South William Street (Storefront Entrance) A community ceramics studio offering classes, memberships, and workshops.
MULTI-SENSORY EXPERIENCE DECORA 177 LIBERTY STREET (Entire Building) The way we live, love and lust through the eyes of AfroLatinX artists living in America (there is a charge for this exhibit)

PUBLIC ART BLACC VANILLA 197 SOUTH STREET (CROSS WALK Painting Saturday only) Live Painting of the crosswalks at Blacc Vanilla intersection. Project is open to the community. Designs created by students from excelsior Academy at NFA. It will be all stenciled out so everyone can paint by number. Goal is to promote creativity in young people and bring attention to crosswalks so that drivers have a reminder to slow down. Artwork on display inside Blacc Vanilla, as well
